Check-in at Cairns Marina
Check-in begins at Cairns Marina from 8:45am. Guests should check in before boarding starts. Boarding begins at 9:30am, and the ferry departs Cairns Marina at 10:15am.
Ferry to Fitzroy Island
The ferry travels from Cairns Marina to Fitzroy Island. Guests arrive at Fitzroy Island at about 11:00am.
Fitzroy Island Free Time
Once on Fitzroy Island, guests can explore the island at their own pace. Activities may include snorkelling with the included equipment, swimming, walking, or spending time on the beach.
Glass-Bottom Boat Tour
The glass-bottom boat tour gives guests a way to view the reef and marine life without getting in the water. The tour takes place around Fitzroy Island and is included in the package.
Tropical Lunch Box
Lunch boxes can be collected from Foxy’s between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Guests can enjoy lunch during their time on the island.
Return Ferry to Cairns
Boarding for the return ferry begins at 3:15pm. The ferry departs Fitzroy Island at 3:30pm and arrives back at Cairns Marina at about 4:30pm.

This trip was great So well run, the staff were friendly, helpful, happy and interested in the clients having a great time. I would definitely book again.
We had a wonderful day & our tripnout to Fitzroy Island was great.
We were told the return trip was at 4pm, but it was 4.45pm before the boat arrived so the boat was very late heading back to Cairns & we stood on the pier for 45mins waiting & not sure when the boat was coming to pick us up - but other than that it was great.
Went out to Fitzroy Island to do the turtle rehabilitation tour. This was very basic and pretty much had a person standing in front of a blue pool with a newly rescued turtle swimming around. We copped an absolute shocker of a day weather wise and the trip out and back in was not for the faint hearted. There were a lot of people being sick. Value for money...no not really. Would I recommend the trip....no not really. Desperately short of toilets on the island. Would be better value to go to the aquarium in Cairns and see the turtles.
